I have had two Fiats, a 124 Sport Coupe (Rare, and my first car), and a 128.
The engines on these were works of art, DOHC aluminum block, cross-flow
heads. They ran like tops, and sounded great. They were slow, but looked
and sounded fast. I really liked them, but they rusted, and fell apart
around me. I always liked the 850, my fear would be reliability and not of
the engine, but all the other bits.
And I always heard it's "Fix It Again Tony" in reference to the Italian
mechanic required to own one. Never heard the Fix it alla time!
