Check the "dimmer" switch by the ignition. IT's the small round black
knob next to the starter key.
Either it's corroded, and spinning the knob back and forth will clean it
up,
OR,
It could be bad. But you can look under the dash and simply unplug it,
and then plug the two wires into each other. (You won't have dimmer
function.)
If it lights up then, then you've got a bad dimmer switch.
