I apologize for the misunderstanding as well. Re-reading your original post,
I obviously jumped to a different conclusion, hence my reply.
That one is also a pain to get to, but thankfully not as much as the water
one.
When I refurbished mine, the screws holding it in place sheared off flush
with the base. It can be quite a chore drilling and tapping the mounting
nuts to get a new screw in there. You might want to check those before you
install your replacement part.
