Rotated gauges, and a 2" round bright red warning light right above the
tach for a low oil pressure idiot light! Saved an engine for me at drivers
school!

Another trick that some racers use to make the gauges more quickly readable
is to rotate the gauge so that the needle is straight up at the "normal"
reading. That way you can tell at a glance if it is normal, low or high.

I like the gig gauges and the 270 sweep because it lets you just
glance down to see if the needles are in the correct area. You seldom
need to actually read them.
