Dan,
Good eye. It was probably sold in 1970 and registered as a '70. Very common
in those days, but it's probably a '69 model all right. TO tell for sure,
you'd need to examine other aspects of the car to see if it is a hybrid
'69-'70. That happened, too, although more commonly with earlier models.
