I'm at the stage in my restoration that picking a paint color must be
addressed. I'm not one who needs to stick to an original roadster color and
am considering a Porsche 911/912 color that was used on the 64/66 911
models. In looking at a few Porsche paint code web-sites I found the color
I'm looking for. It is called Signal Red and is listed with the paint number
6407 and code 016. I called my local PPG paint store and they can't find
that code. Many other colors are listed such as Signal blue, Signal green,
etc. Can any list member remember Signal Red and help with the correct paint
number and code?
