The L-20b is 3/4 inch taller than an L-16/18 and that swap usually
comes with hood clearance issues. The single DCOE is a horrible setup
because the middle cylinders run way richer than the end cylinders due
to the mainfold design, plus there's a coolant bypass on these
manifolds. In other words, in cold weather you often get carb icing.
All that said if the car hasn't been hacked up too bad for the L-motor
swap, it might be a good foundation for a resto with a U-20 or a SR or
KA swap.
