Hello all,
Dad had a good time fixing Pattie's radio and is willing to do a few
more. So everyone understands what he is offering here is the email he sent
me. I have a couple horizontal ones from the 66-67 cars for parts.

Hi Keith,
Just got this email after we got home from the trip.
I would be willing to take on a limited number of the old auto radios, but
I am not looking to start a business. Also just make sure everyone
understands what I do is not "Rebuilds" or "Restorations", All I will attempt
to
do is clean them up a bit and make them "play."
Common discrete components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes,
transistors, etc; typically are easy to find. Most transformers, coils, and
tuning
mechanisms are virtually impossible to find as they were usually custom
made for the individual manufactures. Volume controls and switches also were
usually custom made but often a modern part can be adapted. Original style
knobs are also a problem, but knobs that are functional are relative easy
to make with a little lathe work.
I will do what I can with what is available as far as replacement parts
are concerned, just beware that every attempt will not end as a success
story.
Also any documentation such as schematics or alignment procedures would be
welcome.
See you when you get home,
Dad
