Steve Harvey told me of a product that works for this but I do not remember
what it is. He is out of town right now and thus away from a computer but if he
doesn't respond to you (or the list) directly, let me know and I will check
with him.

Hello all, first off I'd like to thank Gary and Greg for helping me out
with my tachometer issue.
I pulled the tach cable and lubed it up as per their recommendations.
It seems to be working better now but still not 100%.
I discovered during this process that the straighter the cable is, the
less it tends to jump at lower
rpm's. Almost there. Thanks guys!
I'm wondering if anyone out there has tips on what products to use to
clean off overspray on rubber parts.
My trunk gasket has 10 year old overspray on it and I can't seem to get
it off. It's not a heavy paint, but a mist.
Unfortunately it's red and not black :-(
Somewhere out there I thought there was a coating that you can put
overtop of tires and other rubbers which restores the
color (almost like a black coating).
Does anyone have any tips?
If so I'd greatly appreciate any advice.
Cheers!
