Jonny 5,
I located a single, very badly damaged washer (and a small square nut from the
terminal) when I cleaned the sludge out from bottom of the distributor
housing. Referring to the picture of the Hitachi Distributor in the parts
manual Lars has posted on the 311s.org site, I believe it to have been item 33
or 34. I can't tell from the illustration exactly where they go, how many
should really be in there, or if this/these are critically necessary.
What do you think?
Thanks!
Patti

Define thrust washer . I suspect there was a small fiber washer
underneath the weight ? Is there a bushing in the hole in the weight ?
As Jonny 5 would say "Input ! I need input !"
