Many folks have reported being very happy with the kits from Les and Dean. A
recent thread on the Bluebirds list found a number of folks going Gary's
route.

Fred,
I took my car to a local trim shop, who, using the old pieces as templates,
made a custom-fit set. They made the floor carpet one piece from nose to
tail, so it doesn't bunch or lift at the transverse seam in the "factory"
carpet. Also, they put in vinyl rub pads where my feet had worn the
existing carpet. In 1996, it cost $300.00. In my opinion, what I got is
far better than any kit.

Subject: [Roadsters] Carpeting
Hi Folks:
Has anyone any comments, suggestions or experience of where to buy the best
fitting/quality carpeting for 1969 Roadster? I notice on the web there is a
company called Stock Interiors that also has roadster carpeting as well as
the our regular vendors.
Thanks for any advice.
Fred
