Hey Guys - don't forget the early Fairlady's had THREE SEATS. There is one
in the back sitting sideways. We call it the mother-in-lay seat.

I rode in the back of a bugeye sprite and a GT6 in the early 70's. It was a
different time. I had a booster seat for the Fairlane 500 that wasn't for
safety but so that I cold see out. We didn't have or use seat belts and at
least a few times I ended up in the floorboard of the Ghia convertible. My
dad sure had some cool cars. Too bad I was too young to remember.

In the early '70s, my young daughter rode on the parcel shelf of my '66
1600. No seat belt, etc. We were lucky we were never in an accident or
incident. My, how times have changed.
