So, you've seen the PO body work on my car? There's a tennis ball holding
the patch in place inside the rocker panel. Pete, make sure you use
greenboard for the outer body panels.

Wow - you can use spackling in place of Bondo? Easier to sand, for sure!
Have you tried wallboard tape to repair fender rot? I imagine the
fiberglas-backed stuff would be necessary to survive the NorthWest weather
:-)

But not far from the truth, as I have an autobody book with a chapter on
cheap repairs for cars headed to the used car lot. Honest, they document
using metal duct tape to patch fender rot!
