There a keywords scattered throughout that make it appear this seller
is selling a car owned for quite a while. I know the first time I
read, I thought this was a beloved car that he couldn't bear to sell.
After knowing the truth and rereading it, I can see that the seller is
being very tricky, if not deceitful. Especially in the first few
sentences about "this car".

People seem not to read the entire ebay post, combined with not
understanding the rules of ebay. Below user Ruth comments that the
description said something different before, but descriptions can't be
changed once there are bids, so it couldn't have said something
different last time she looked.
Regarding user Mark Dent's comment, the description doesn't say anything
refutable about family -- it says his family, friends and acquaintances
have wanted this model car. Why can't he know the history regardless of
how long he's owned the car?

Coulda sworn that said "has owned this car" last time I looked.
From: "Mark Dent" <mark@dealermats.com>
that text in the description about family and knowing the history
is pure BS
