I've seen a bunch of the 240SX's with SR20DET conversion done. It's purely a
power thing. Ya can't drift without a bunch of horsepower. (I've been
reading 240SX forums for two days).
"Real" racing is more than just horsepower. It's also driver ability,
keeping the tires stuck to the road, suspension setup, etc. A KA24 can be
made to go fast and still have control in the corners.
The "street" ricer racers around here use their HP to make very curly black
marks in parking lots.

the most professional, experienced racer I know (yes, REAL racer)
runs a KA24 in his GT3 240SX...
Diff'rent engines for different purposes, huh?
