It's hard to see clearly in this diagram, but look at the way the wiper
motor mount is oriented. The lower, angled part of the mount clearly angles
back towards the firewall of the car.

Compare that with this picture and you can see that the mount is reversed.
The raised portion at the base of the "tuning fork" stamping on the firewall
is where the mount should attach.

You can even see that the lip on the edges of the mount goes the other way.
Take the thing out, remove the wiper arms, unbolt the three bolts that hold
the motor to the mount, flip the mount over and reasssemble it.
