Where to cut?

Okay, no nibbles on a late model banged-up body so it's about
to become soup cans :-(

If I want to preserve any important body pieces, such as the
door posts that Craig just mentioned, where should I cut in
order for them to be usable to someone? I assume we're
talking about the front hinge area. Is the latch area valuable?
