1. Let engine cool.
2. Drain the block and radiator.
3. Re-fill with water (very hard water in Arizona so, I use distilled water)
and radiator flush.
4. Take a drive and get the engine warm, again. Make sure the valve for the
heater core is open so, it gets flushed as well.
5. Repeat steps 1 and 2.
6. Refill with just water.
7. Repeat step 4.
8. Repeat steps 1 and 2. If the water looks clean, go to step 9. If not, you
may need to flush yet again.
9. Discard all the drained coolant, water, etc. at you local hazardous dump.
