Yokohama has announced that they are releasing a new "S.drive" tire to
replace the AVS ES100. The problem for roadster owners is that the ES100 was
one of the best-performing tires that you could get in 14" wheel size
(without resorting to trick tires like the Falken Azenis), and it sounds
like the S.drive isn't going to be made in 14".
So look for the ES100's to go on sale in the next few months. They were
reasonably priced to begin with ($75 for a 195/60-14). If you're going to be
needing tires in the next year, you might want to consider grabbing a set.
