It would all depend on what you are starting with. I worked on a car earlier
this year (1939 Alfa Romeo) that had $10 000 of work done just to do the clear
coat. The car went on to win its class at Pebble Beach. You can get a good
paint job for as little as $5000 and as much as $100 000. You can estimate for
paint alone with very little body work $5-8000. It also depends are you going
to remove all the chrome trim? take out the glass? is there any rust? You can
