A few months ago, someone (I didn't save the post) told of Corning Co.
making a material used to filter particulates from diesel engines. As I
read it, I realized I had a couple thou in my Scottrade account uninvested.
I used it to buy Corning (GLW symbol) just on a whim that day, it was 18.1
at the time.
Today it is at 24.1, quite a healthy increase over a few months. Turns out
the increase has to do with many of their rivals plants closing down, so it
was the right 'tip' for the wrong reason. Wish I would have bought more...
Does anyone remember that post, did anyone else buy?
Roadster content: I've been following the plug wire talk, as I'm overdue,
and #1 plug wire is tight as a piano wire...
