thanks for your thoughts, Peter Brock was a very talented guy.
It just emphasises that Motor Racing in any form is dangerous.
Unfortunately he ran into a tree.
When you see some of the footage of Brocky racing on the Mount Panorama
track at Bathurst, in the wet, you wonder how he did it.

I just heard today that Peter Brock, reknowned Australian race car driver,
was killed in an accident during a rallye. That is very sad news.
Ironically, he was driving a Shelby Daytona Coupe, the body of which was
originally designed by American Pete Brock of Datsun fame.
This has been a rough week for Australia. My sympathy, mates.
