The late speedo comes apart easily and is not too bad to fix. A good speedo
shop should be able to handle it or if you like doing that sort of thing they
are not too hard.

All,

Now that the car is running I've started to notice some problems. At first
I thought it was just my enthusiasm - I seemed to be driving about twice as
fast in my Datsun as in my other cars. The fingers I received from other
motorists confirmed my suspicion.

Once I finally calmed down I noticed that the speedometer was still running
about 130% fast. Since everything else is working (more or less) I thought
I would try to get the speedometer fixed. Does anyone have any experience
with this? Can you do it yourself?
