I have a few auctions ending this evening and will be starting some new
ones... among them will be a 67.5 1600 that I plan to put a buy-it-now of
$750 on. I actually paid $860 for the car on ebay a while back, I put better
taillight assemblys, headlight buckets, and grille on it, may put on better
bumpers this afternoon... it no longer has headrests or visors, no soft top
assembly at that price but will be listed with a decent hardtop on it.
radiator appears to have been recored, shroud painted. has a recent battery
in it, may need a recharge. I hooked up the cables and the engine started
turning over, needs a little work on the wiring I'd assume. body is not
hurtful, has some bondo in it from a repaint about 20 years ago. was owned
by the family I picked it up from since 1973. small crack in the passenger
side of the windshield, about 3-4 inches long. that wouldn't keep it from
passing inspection in virginia, don't know about elsewhere. cowl drain
drained down into driver side floor enough that it rusted out- I've removed
the section of the floor from the rib in front of the seat to where it goes
up for the firewall. frame looks fine, passenger side floor mostly solid.
If anyone wants to pick up on this car at $750 before I list it, drop me an
e-mail today. can send photos- car is here at my place in virginia.
