Re Panasports 14 inch

I have just purchased a 1970 1600 w/14" Panasports.
Locigally, since I believe 15' rims are standard, the tach and spedo are 
off, fortunately on the right side of the law.

1) Is there ary way of adjusting the dials to make them accurate
2) Probably better, for the sake of the engine, is there a better rear-end 
diff gearing that will reduce the strain on the engine
3) Is there anyone out there who would like to swap 15 for 14 - I have 14x8 
Yokos on the car right now.
