Just a reminder - if you seal your tank block off or blow out the fuel
pick up and return lines in the tank. As many of you know I have had
fuel related problems for some time now. I finally bit the bullet and
attacked the last thing that I could think of - the fuel pick up tube.
Dropped the tank last night and sure enough it was just about sealed
shut. I could barely blow through it. And it turns out that I had the
lines reversed. The pickup line is actually the smaller of the two and
the one more towards the center of the tank. Finally at 12:30 this
morning I was able to bust through without blowing anything up. I am
amazed that the car ran at all and I can't wait to hook everything back
up.
On the plus side the inside of my tank looked awesome. I sealed it two
or three years ago with the Eastwood kit. Not an ounce of crud floating
around (well - just a little now :-)
