Ya Know,
That would actually make more sense! I've often pondered why they would use a
lower case letter "d" instead of a capital one. With the weird
language/dialect/cultural interpretations, etc, It's not a far stretch to
imagine they might have actually intended that emblem to represent a "p" for
"press".
