With it missing in a specific rpm... there are TWO wires to look at.
First is the wire from the "-" coil connection to the 1/4 spade on the
side of the distributor. I always carried a spare ready to bypass the
harness. Rare failure, but sometimes the wire will break under the
insulation leaving an intermittent connection. Simple to replace.
Second is the wire INSIDE the distributor. Cloth covered, originally
white, but connects the ignition points to the connector on the side
of the distributor. I'm pretty sure long since NLA, but only trick is
to make a new wire that is very flexible as the breaker plate moves
back and forth.
