Distributor - Drive Cable

I just realized that I did not have the distributor end of the cable covered 
when last removing the engine.  I am pretty sure there should be a plastic 
sleeve that fits inside it.  Can anyone confirm this before I call a vendor 
for one.  Maybe someone has a spare???  Thanks!  Larry.
