Hi All, I'm about ready to put my Empi wheels on my car. From what I've
heard, I should just go ahead and run tubes because it's unlikely it'll ever
seal. So, does anybody know what type/size tube to run? Do they just make
one tube for 14" wheels?
When putting them together, is it like putting together a bicycle tire? Do
I simply put the inner tube in the tire, thread the filler through the hole,
place both sides on and bolt it together, then fill her up? I know when
tire shops mount tires, they usually put soapy water around the tires lip.
Is this necessary?
And in terms of bolting them together, my set didn't come with the nuts or
washers to bolt the 2 halves together. So I bought grade 8 nylon locking
nuts and grade 8 SAE washers. Anybody foresee any issues with this set-up?
