I'm not a mechanic, just a bodyman, but from my "Auto Mechanic Basics" at the school of hard-knocks: Zero Compression Causes: Hole in Piston No Rings on Piston Valve seats scored Valves chipped, cracked, or head broken off. Head Gasket blow out Cylinder wall damaged I'm sure some of these are literally extremes, but I'm sure you'll get an answer from these guys. Enrique |
