Putting two covers, tarps, sheets, one on top of the other with 12 inch gap
between them will reduce the day time temp from 20 to 40 degrees F . The closer
to the ground the better around 18 inch's. Top cover should be white.
Strictly for survival in severe heat, in case you forgot the cell phone.
Roadster content: If you break down in the middle of the desert, it would be
nice to have a couple of sheets in your trunk. I guess the toneau cover on with
doors open for ventilation, and maybe your car cover from the top of the
windshield to the trunk would work well.
Hey I love camping

Mine says 112. North side, under patio cover. Reading my old Air Force
survival manual. With a gallon of water a day you are expected to survive 2
days
in this heat. We just had someone else lock their kid in a car. Dead in two
hours. The guys that work in junk yards carry tools in a bucket of water. But
remember, they don't make heat shovels. A late night, top down, drive to
Hoover dam is real nice.

115 degrees here today in Chandler AZ. But, remember, it's a dry heat
(ya right). It is 5:58 pm here
And the thermometer on the north side of the house, under the patio
cover, close to grass says
109!
