I thought I would offer my car one last time before heading to Ebay.
$7000.00. Over $12k invested
I purchased this car last year from the second owner. At that point the car
had been garaged for almost 10 years. He had a bunch of work done and then
health problems left the car unused accept for occasional weekend drives.
After purchasing I found that the brakes and clutch needed replacement.
These have been replaced.
The engine was completely re-done 2000 miles ago, which was 10 years back. I
had the cam shaft and followers replaced due to some light rust while the
engine was out.
The previous owner and myself had rust removed where ever found. I don't
believe the car has any problem areas at the moment. I just took care of
door jams and the usual suspects I have heard about from the list are all
clean.
I have detailed receipts of all the work done by me and the previous owner.
The car is in great shape: New engine for the most part, interior clean
recent carpet & newly re upholstered seats, new soft top, new brakes, new
clutch, new felt and rubber on windows, hard top. Paint in o.k. Condition.
Total miles are 108k and the car is white.
I have only driven the car a couple hundred miles since I took ownership.
Needs- new tires, has small hole along the muffler that chirps and this can
be patched. Original stereo in car not hooked up. Right blinker not working,
Gas gauge intermittent.
Many extra parts- stereo, dual carb spare. And misc.
