I have an aluminum pin which I must attach securely into a larger soft steel(? magnetic) pin, which is a light friction fit as is. I was told I could "silver" solder them together, then someone else said that would melt the aluminum..?? This is for an electronic speedometer sensor so there is not much load. Thanks (again!) for your input, ideas. My project should be on the road by the end of july..... Daryl |
