try pluging the ends , use an old valve stem in one end (be carefull of 
overpressurizing, 1600 is 7.5 psi??)
use a bicycle pump to pressurize then put in a bath tub of water and 
look for bubbles (she's probably not around but you can look for her 
anyway. or put colored water in the coil then pressurize and look for 
leaks or get some Snoop ( soapy colored leak
detector) I would think a vave stem could be trimed to use as a plug and 
filler valve. many variations on this take your pick.
