Richard,
Been There, Done That.
I bought a new 69 2L and decided to build an interval wiper circuit for it
using a Unijuction transistor circuit and a simple relay delayed release
scheme. I put the control in place of the S Brake switch and it worked
great.... for a while. Then the parking contacts inside of the wiper motor
gave out and I had to park the wipers manually whenever I used them.
I found the original circuit for the wiper delay circuit a couple of weeks
ago. That was a surprise. I added it to my Datsun paperwork to keep just
cuz.

Subject: wipers
Well it rained yesterday here in California in June, and driving home I
wondered if anyone has ever modified or made an intermittent wiper
switch or relay for our roadsters. Since my 2 year old son loves to
flip every switch in my roadster when he plays in it, my wiper knob has
disappeared and pulling it out and pushing it back can be a drag.
