Brake Switch ?

Year 1966

On the brake fluid splitter/manifold/coupler, whatever you call that thing, 
there is a switch that is screwed into it.

Is that the brake light switch on early cars? If not, what is it?

What is the part number for that item? I can not locate it in the fiche, so I 
figure if I got the part number I can look it up that way in the part number 
listing.
