Does it matter how much fuel is in the tank? And is it left and righr
turns? I remember reading something about rotating the fuel bowl covers, but
I think that was for 2000 carbs with hinged float and extreme cornering
force. The free float in a 1600 shouldn't be as affected.
Has anyone had an issue with a 1600 that miss fires only when under power
around a corner? My 69/1600 runs strong at highway speed, up/down hills but
stumbles and misses around corners. When you come out of the corner it runs
like a top. If it was a float issue I would think the car would starve for
fuel during highway speeds. I can't think of any electrical issues that
would cause this to occur only around corners. Any suggestions on how to
tackle this one would be appreciated.
