Having just finished a similar episode with Mr. Hyde, I suspect the opinion
you have a leak somewhere is right on. With Mr. Hyde it was a very slow
leak on the flex hose at the slave cylinder. I could drive the car if I
carried a can of brake fluid until I got it figured out and repaired. The
problem was fixed when I found my spare flex hose while I was cutting up my
rusted parts car frame. It was one of the few things still attached to the
parts car frame. I KNEW I had one somewhere.....

I agree with Kieth. It sounds like your brother was in the wrong place at
the
wrong time. Unless your brother cooked the disc towing lawyers files around
he couldn't do much to hurt it. REMBER if the disc don't fit you must
acquit.
