Mark,
Good idea the helper is a good lady, likes to go for roadster rides as well.
The best I came up with was in line with the washer holes and not too far
down the fender as the LH mirror gets blocked by the windsheild post. I do
prefer the fender mirrors as you can keep your eyes ahead on the road and
keep an eye out for whats going on behind you at the same time.
My motto set the mirrors where you need them once & don't let anyone else
drive the "R".
