Firewall Clip

Hello Everyone,  I am re-installing my oil pressure line to the dash
gauge.  There is a metal tab that is dead center of the firewall and at
the very top (just below the cowl).  My oil line touches it.  Is the tab
a support for the oil line?  Seems big enough to hold a full wiring
harness but I don't think any run through this area.  Can anyone do a
quick check and let me know.  Thanks in advance.  Larry.
