Tells me they've been unobtainable since at least 1982 and that the vendors
have kept the price increase reasonable (albeit still unobtainable) since
then.
Is it reasonable to say that the majority of the roadsters on the road today
could use ball joint replacement if NOS was $172 over 20 years ago?

Subject: Roadster ball joint prices
The suggested retail price of roadster lower ball joints in the January 01,
1982 Nissan Dealer Confidential parts price list was $172.55 and the
suggested retail price of the upper ball joints was $157.02.
The current suggested Nissan retail prices are $219.72 and $199.72
respectively for the lower and upper ball joints. That is only about a 27%
increase in 23 years. How much was gasoline 23 years ago?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
