Well I've done it now.
I bid on that 67.5 1600 basket case that was on Ebay, and won it. Since I'd
only seen it from the pictures, I was having severe buyer's remorse. So then I
realize that I've no place for this car that's torn completely apart. Then
terror strikes! How will I explain this pile of parts to the wife! She's not
as
understanding as all of your wives are. I don't know, she thinks two
Roadsters and a 911 are enough. Can you believe her?
Anyway, as I was going up to see it for the first time, I was thinking I
would just offer the guy some money to relist it and my problem goes away,
right?
This would have been the smart move, but once I saw it I had to have it.
This car (although apart) is really nice! So, I'm venturing off into the
great (and expensive) unknown. I'm going do a full nuts & bolts restoration
and
keep this a 1600 (no clone 2000). Wish me luck, and let me thank all you in
advance as I'll be pestering the list with my stupid questions.
P.S. The #585 67.5 2000 car needs to leave my garage for this one, so if
anyone is interested contact me (949-854-9201).
