Quite a few people asking so... the pics are 3DStudioMAX renders of a free
Santa model from www.3dcafe.com in a Roadster model I bought from
www.turbosquid.com a while back. I bought the Roadster model to do color
studies for the "R", while also figuring it might come in handy for little
projects like this. I also did a quickie animation of the scene, but after
scrunching it down to fit bandwidth, it really wasn't worth it...
I use MAX in my business for creating product visualizations - it can
animate and render products in a very believable fashion. I don't usually
do any modelling in MAX, but rather import 3D from my primary design and
engineering package, EDS I-deas10NX.
