OT: Anyone hauling stuff North from SoCal?

I'm pondering ways to get a 200lb tranny (it was in a Roadster!)
from Whittier, CA to Sacramento. All the way would be great,
Stockton would be excellent but If I can even get it a chunk of the
way that may work out. So... anyone got room in the back of their
pickup for a chunk of ballast that needs hauling over the Grapevine?
