FYI - You can get the wiper motor out of a late car without removing the dash. The secret is to remove the glove box. Note that it is VERY easy to destroy an old, dried out glove box in the process. Once the box is out, you've got pretty good access to the area behind the dash. If you do it this way, be very patient while removing the glove box and disconnect the battery before taking the fuse box out.
