well this trailer is to be pulled by my datsun
i spent a good part of the summer (a lot more time
than i thought it would take!) building a camper that
fits my car
i used the 1947 mcchanix illustrated "trailer for two"
plans
i'll put up a couple of pics once i get the back door
finished - the whole thing cost about 1200US$
it is 4'wide
(plus the wheels uses 14x6 80s ford mags on a 3500lb
drop axle with electric brakes - i nearly had an
accident last year pulling my old tent trailer so the
brakes are a goodidea)
and 10' of living/cooking space
roughly 7' to sleep and 3' to cook
total hight is 5'2"
it is plywood with an aluminum roof
