I found a wheel stud that is 7/16-20, 2 1/8" long, but it has a round
head, not a flat side, and the knurl is .472", just a bit bigger than
stock, but the knurl is VERY short, maybe 1/8" to 1/4".
For those in the know, is a very short knurl a problem in our cars? And
what's the easiest way for a shade-tree mechanic to make a flat side on
the head so it'll fit properly in my hubs? I've got a dremel and a
regular drill... could buy another tool if it'll make it easy, but
would prefer to use either of those if they'll work well.
