Daniel, First, I agree with everyone who said let someone else do it. If you do weld the tank, clean with water than put DRY ICE in the tank to displace the air. (air+fuel+heat=boom) :-( This is always done when working around large tanks with heavy machinery i.e. removing storage tanks... Not a bad idea even if you are only transporting the tank.
