I've been talking with a guy that has a couple of cars out in a field
that have to go soon. A deal may or may not be able to be worked
out, mainly depending on if there's enough interest in what can be
salvaged.

There's a 66, and a 69. Neither has its drivetrain, both have been
outside, topless, for quite some time (measured in years). The
windshield on the 66 is cracked. Inflated tires on both, so they
may roll (but I expect the discs to be rusted to the pads). Both
have hoods and trunk lids and doors, though one trunk lid is heavily
bondo'd. One of them took a hit in the rear, though I don't recall
which. The 66 took a minor hit in the left front. Not a lot of good
chrome (no side chrome on the 69). I wasn't allowed to take pictures,
and I didn't take a lot of notes - I was rather caught off-guard when
I saw them (I was led to believe their condition was much better).
Low-screen hardtop, but missing glass and latches. Interiors, as
expected, are tattered and most likely rusted in place. The '66 had
seats; I think the 69 did too. You wouldn't want to sit in them, though.

There's also several extra parts. There's a set of pretty unabused low
screen doors (pushbutton) with glass and internals, a second set with
dents. A couple of trunk decks. Cylinder heads: 2-1600 and 1-2000,
again left in the weather for too long, and on quick inspection appeared
to be milled too far but I didn't measure. 2000 had rusty 'A' cam, no
valves or rockers.

If there's local interest I can try to get more info and make a detailed
inspection. To be honest, I was quite underwhelmed, but then again
I have a spare car so I don't need another frame or body tub. Oh, there's
also questionable paperwork on these so consider them as parts only.

The cars are cheap but not free 'cause they're being stored on someone
else's property and that guy wants some compensation. This deal is a
bit of a tangled mess, actually, but I'll try to untangle it if I can
avoid getting myself burned in the process. If there's enough interest
I'll pursue it.
